Job Description

Key tasks and responsibility:

Radiation Management Ensure compliance with ISO14001, 45001 and regulatory requirement. Ensure scheduled waste is handles, stored, clearly identified, and dispose as per legal requirement. To conduct weekly inspection at scheduled waste store. To update monthly schedule waste inventory in e-SWIS system. Submission of e-consignment note on waste disposal to DOE. Liaise with DOE (Department of Environmental). Conduct waste disposal site audit Environmental Management Ensure full compliance to Atomic Energy Licensing Act and periodically review to ensure any new requirement or amendment to be captured. Liaison person with Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) on licensing and other radiation safety issues. To update radiation management information in e-Lesen system. Liaise with Malaysian Nuclear Agency on calibration of survey meters. Arrange distribution of OSL Badge to the radiation workers. Arrange the submission of OSL badge to Malaysian Nuclear Agency and inform the results to concerns staffs within stipulated period after obtaining the results. Ensure radiation monitoring (Area and Personnel) conducted monthly to verify the radiation level at the irradiating apparatus are within the acceptable level as per the stipulated legal limit. Conduct weekly workplace inspections and periodic auditing

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or Science. Experience in radiation monitoring, ISO management system & standards will be advantage. Extensive knowledge of excel, office suite.; MS Excel, Word & Power point. Business proficiency for English & Malay
