Job Description

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing and enforcing all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment, in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation, company policies, and relevant industry standards. Recognize and control occupational hazards and interface with employee and management. Evaluate and control workplace hazards by applying principles of industrial safety and risk assessment in chemical agents, noise, equipment and others Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and employees to promote a strong safety culture. Ensure accidents, incidents, and near misses are reported, investigated, and necessary corrective actions are taken to minimize recurrence. Coordinate Safety and Health systems effectively within the Company pre-operation by interpreting standards, advising management on needed actions, enforcing adherence to regulations and corporate standards. Participate in the safety and related audit and all safety and health activity programs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in

Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or any related field

Green Book Holder

registered as

Safety & Health Officer by DOSH/JKKP/NIOSH

Minimum

3-5 years

in EHS, preferably in

manufacturing

environment.

Proficiency in

English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin

with strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates fluent in

Mandarin

CIDB safety regulations, JKKP requirements, risk assessment procedures, permit-to-work, ISO14001:2015, and ISO45001:2018 systems
