Job Description

The HSE Specialist will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to help ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and assist in the preparation of reports.
• Provide HSE training and awareness programs to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Monitor and track HSE performance metrics and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in risk assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Assist in the development and execution of emergency response plans and drills.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate HSE requirements into operational activities.
• Stay updated on local, national, and international HSE regulations and best practices.
• Support environmental management programs, including waste management and pollution prevention initiatives.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the manufacturing or chemical industry.
• Knowledge of local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools.
• Certification in occupational health and safety is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
