Job Purpose: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical, instrumentation, control systems, metering, and communications; manage maintenance inventory and maintain E&I working tools on offshore facility; and perform troubleshooting and provide input to MTL, OPS, OIM and office support team. Job Requirements: Minimum of a Professional Certificate or Diploma or Degree in Bachelor of Engineering Electrical or equivalent qualification in related field. Minimum of 2 years\' experience (minimum Diploma or Degree) or 5 years\' experience (minimum Professional Certificate) in electrical & instrument (dual-skill) in Oil and Gas. Conversant in offshore Health, Safety and Environment regulations, standards, and procedures. Good understanding of oil & gas processing. Proficient computer skills in IT or OT. Reasonable communication and interpersonal skills. Reasonable command of spoken and written English. Open to working in Sarawak on rotational basis. Job Responsibilities: Perform the day-to-day electrical & instrument maintenance, commissioning, installation & inspection activities to meet the daily hydrocarbon production target in an efficient and professional manner, and in compliance with all Company\'s HSE requirements and other relevant rules, regulations & policies. Display good leadership, provide technical or hands-on coaching, and inspire team member while maintain good collaboration with other stakeholders. Lead and perform electrical and instrument maintenance and inspection activities in safe, efficient, and professional manner and in compliance with Company\'s HSE and other requirements. Calibrate, test, maintenance, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment on the platform(s), such as AC (up to 6.6KV) and DC distribution systems, switchgear, MCC protective relays, gas turbine generators, diesel generators, HV&LV motors and transformers, lighting, navigation aid system, UPS, battery chargers and battery inspection, HVAC, other electrical appliances, etc. Calibrate, test, maintenance, validate, troubleshoot and repair of instrumentation and control equipment on the platforms such as, field devices/sensors, transmitters, detectors, DCS, PLC, FGS, SDS, SCADA, analysers, sampling system, flow computer, allocation/custody meters validation and proving activities, actuated/control valves, telecommunication (VSAT/LAN/PABX/Phone/VHF/UHF Radio/etc.), Nav-Aid, METS, NDB, AIS, etc. Support daily operations activities. Provide feedback to improve workflow, technical procedure, safety document and other relevant documents. Support / perform non-routine activities during turnaround, facility modification, subsurface work, and construction. To be quick to respond and assist MTL, OTL, Op Sup and OIM in the event of plant or process upset during or after working hours to provide quick response and ensure safety and plant operations are managed well. Perform stock check for E&I section i.e. inventory materials, tools, part and consumables and raise material requisition (MSR) as and when required. Provide feedback on any fast-moving spare parts. Ensure all tools (e.g. calibration tool Fluke, HART communicator 475 etc.) used in daily activities are maintained and kept properly and maintained in good working condition for readiness to use. To uphold good cybersecurity practice by maintaining good physical barrier and software barrier by ensuring no unauthorized or unattended activity being carried out by non-competent personnel or third party. To ensure all engineering laptops used for communication, calibration and system programming are properly stored and all external connection (USB flash/SD card/FloppyDisc/CD/DVD/HDD/etc.) to these laptops are virus-free prior to use. Ensure only latest logic software (latest revision) are being deployed. Ensure every revision or software change log is being recorded with adequate information such as last saved date, activity carried out, change by who, and location of saved file (and back up). Ensure all necessary software backup (logic/program/image/recovery file) are available onboard and at secondary location. To produce report on E&I related equipment failure and work closely with MTL and supporting engineers in related E&I issues. To review and endorse any third-party report from any troubleshooting/PM/CM. Maintain good and harmony collaboration with OIM, Op Sup, MTL, OTL and office support personnel when updating or producing relevant document such as job task procedure, SOP or manual. Ensure latest document being updated in relevant folders offshore. Ensure good ergonomic practice by maintaining good body posture, perform workplace/deck cleaning and other necessary housekeeping work. Perform cargo handling including rigging and slinging. Prepare reports (handover note, equipment defect, etc.) and collect / compile data when required. Participate in all trainings / safety program conducted on the platform and during off duty (i.e. BOSIET, Coxswain, DCT, etc.) Perform/attend daily toolbox meeting, JHA review, PTW submission and seeking for approval. Participate in risk assessments session when/where required. To perform roles and responsibilities assigned when on duty as required by OIM i.e.: Emergency Response Team member, DCT commander/leader, coxswain, etc. To participate and encourage USUA program and JOBs as required to ensure safe working conditions. Provide adequate supervision to third party work execution and HSE performance. Perform stop work if deemed necessary. Record and review all repairs, planned maintenance, inspection, certification, testing, calibration and validation work accordingly and, populate records/data into the CMMS. Act as Damaged Control Team member when there is a need to respond to platform emergency and when required, deputize the MTL in his absence. To assist other team members (Production technician, Mech Tech, Crane Operator, Medic RO) in daily activities in a safe manner that does not encroach into competent personnel job scope (e.g. assist in rigging up equipment, material placement, tool preparation, buddy system, assist crane operations during lifting etc.) In the absence of the MTL, senior or experienced E&I Tech will be assigned as Acting Operation Team Leader (MTL) Stayback (extended stay after crew change) or callback (early return during off days) when back-to-back is not available due to whatever reasons or during major turnaround or shutdown activities where additional support is required to manage activities.
