A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Electrical Drafter, your day is focused on producing accurate and detailed drawings for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and control layouts. You'll work closely with electrical engineers and design coordinators to incorporate design inputs, site conditions, and authority requirements into your drafting work.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Prepare and update electrical drawings such as SLDs, layouts, schematics, termination, and wiring diagrams Interpret engineering sketches and markups to generate detailed and compliant CAD drawings Coordinate with engineers to ensure alignment of drawings with design intent and site requirements Maintain drawing standards, accuracy, and consistency across all project documentation Assist in integrating changes from BIM coordination, clash resolution, and authority comments Support document control and drawing submission processes for internal and external stakeholders
What You Bring

Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical drafting for substation/building and infrastructure projects Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and BIM platforms is a plus Strong understanding of electrical systems including LV/HV, lighting, grounding, HV Equipment and panel layouts Able to read and translate technical specifications, SLDs, and protection/control schematics High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive attitude in supporting engineers and project teams

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
