Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsperson with experience in Electrical Revit BIM modeling to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and coordination of Building Information Models (BIM) for electrical services. Responsibilities include creating accurate models, performing clash detection, and resolving clashes to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce drawings based on sketches or guides given by the Engineers or with reference to past project drawings. Develop and maintain detailed Revit BIM models for M&E services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Produce 3D models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, incorporating project requirements and industry standards. Perform clash detection using BIM software tools like Navisworks, Revit, or equivalent platforms. Identify, analyse, and resolve clashes between M&E services and other disciplines (architectural and structural). Collaborate closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure alignment of BIM models. Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes and discuss solutions with multidisciplinary teams. Assist in producing design drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings. Assist in coordinating all C&S/ M&E services drawings related to structural, architectural, landscape and interior design. Assist in management of hardcopies and softcopies of designs/drawings. Assist in preparation of drawings, including printing, folding, stamping, etc. Draft work either manually or using software. Ensure drafting work to meet target deadline.

Key Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. Min 3 - 5 years' experience in Electrical drafting and as an Electrical Revit BIM Modeler with focus on Electrical services. Proven experience in clash detection, analysis, and resolution using BIM tools. Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related software. Strong understanding in Electrical and engineering practice. Technical proficiency in CAD Software and Autodesk Revit Software is a must. Good interpersonal skills, high degree of responsibility, collaborative work style, teamwork, solution-oriented and outcome-driven. Certification in Autodesk Revit or BIM-related courses is an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
