Job Description

Liaise with TNB, DOSH, JKKP, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other regulatory bodies on approvals, registration/ certifications, utility services and compliance issues, ensuring statutory compliance to applicable laws. Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports including reports required by TNB, DOSH, JKKP, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other regulatory bodies as and when needed. To carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections, repair, corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on all switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, switch gears and cleanliness of all High Voltage, Low Voltage, generator rooms, cold room and etc. Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Ensure that equipment are in good working order to prevent disruption of production activities. Recommend replacement for old or faulty electrical components or fittings to the management. Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical department. Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company\'s electrical equipment. Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process. Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented. Ensure all activities are in accordance with the company\'s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Job Requirements Candidate must be certified Chargeman by Energy Commission Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia) for at least 11KV installation. Completed SPM/SPMV, MLVK, KKTM, IKM, Diploma or equivalent in Manufacturing technology, Electrical Engineering. Applicants must be willing to work in Nusajaya Tech Park, Johor Bahru. Preferably candidates with 5 years\' experience within facility and maintenance field. Able to read and interpret simple electrical specifications, wiring and circuit diagrams, symbols and building plans. Electrical knowledge associated with current carrying capacity of cables, wire, fuses, single phase circuit, three phase circuit, earth circuits, insulating, conducting material, switch fuses, isolators and other protective circuit devices. Willing to work irregular hours, call back on normal, public holidays and on weekends.
