Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent role in Ireland. It is for an Electrical Engineer with a starting salary of EUR65,000 annually, based on a 39-hour work week. This figure may be higher depending on experience. Overtime may be required during critical project phases, with salary increasing proportionately if additional hours are needed.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for various engineering projects. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring all work is completed on time and to code. You will work within a dynamic team of experienced engineers, utilizing advanced electrical design software and tools.
Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.
• Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
• Creating detailed drawings and technical reports.
• Collaborating with architects, construction teams, and project managers.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and legal regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications
• Experience working on electrical design and installation projects (preferred)
• Good knowledge of Irish and EU electrical regulations
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Technical qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field
• Willingness to travel to various project sites
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
• Physical ability to conduct site inspections
• Flexibility to work extra hours if necessary
