Permanent contract Full Time 3. PROJECT ENGINEER

3.1 Reports to : Project Manager
3.2 Subordinates : Site Engineer
3.3 Responsibility :

3.3.1 Ensure commitments as to complete the project on time and to budgeted cost.
3.3.2 Preparation of master works programme, materials budget and other works schedule as well as resource plans prior and during contract period.
3.3.3 Liaison with client/ Consultants and Sub-contractors for smooth and well planned implementation of the project.
3.3.4 Organizes the project team and assign responsibilities to down-line supporting personnel for the performance of work activities.
3.3.5 Initiates necessary remedial actions to maintain the project to progress on schedule to ensure completed project and products conform to specifications.
3.3.6 Provides technical and engineering solution to construction including design for temporary works.
3.3.7 Reporting to Project Director/Manager identifies potential design issues related to M&E and structural design and drawings and provide technical solution to ongoing projects.
3.3.8 Coordinates M&E technical design review with Project Manager / Engineer.
3.3.9 Conducts Sub-Contractor meeting, site safety meeting and attend Consultant/ Client\xe2\x80\x99s meeting.
3.3.10 Ensures quality of work is up to specified requirements.
3.3.11 Monitor closely the Sub-contractor\xe2\x80\x99s resources (manpower, materials, machinery and equipment) to ensure optimum distribution of work.
3.3.12 Ensures discipline and good morale are maintained at construction site, studies and revises actual and planned work progress to achieve the project requirement.
3.3.13 Work together and fully cooperative with site personnel, department heads and project manager (HOD) as a team.
3.3.14 Identified the requirement for material and work method statement submissions.
3.3.15 Assist in preparation of progress claims for inputs in works accomplishment.
3.3.16 Preparation and compile QA/QC record.
3.3.17 Vetting and drafting of all correspondence related to M&E and project admin works
3.3.18 Set-up appropriate procedures for project handover to Client/ Main contractor. Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor\xc2\xb4s Degree
• Language(s): English ,Malay
• Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project
• Driver\'s license: Car
