Job Description

Contract duration: 12 months

Work Environment/Location is as required by project, 50% will be either at Site around Malaysia or Factory around Klang Valley. Another 50% at Office. Position will be expected to travel as required by project. Entitled to Inconvenience allowance Claim for Field/Site Services scope where applicable.

Primary Job Functions

Design, parameterize, and test Substation Automation System solutions. Design Substation Control System/RTU/Disturbance Recorder Panel according to Utility/Customer requirements. Prepare HMI Design/Configuration and SP5 SCADA Configuration. Parameterize other Automation products such as RTUs and IEDs as required. Support on Design, Configuration, Factory & Site Testing & Commissioning of DFR and Power Quality System. Oversee entire lifecycle of project execution (Design > Production > FAT > SAT). Manage and prepare project documentation (Drawings, Test Logs, ITP, MOS) as required. Provide project reports and other information to the management. Conduct product trainings for customers and System Integrators (if required). Responsible for after-sales technical support.

Requirements

Education

Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Power System/Computer System Engineering or equivalent.
Experience

3-5 years of working experience in Substation Automation System or SCADA-related projects. Experience with Siemens SAS system and Configuration Tools such as SICAM SCC, SICAM AK3, SICAM PAS, SICAM Device Manager, DIGSI, Reydips Manager preferred.
Required Knowledge

IEC61850/Modbus Protocol Substation Automation System Human Machine Interface (HMI) ICT (Computers and LAN) Industrial Ethernet Switch General power system Technical report writing Basic Project Management Skills
Required Skills

Proficient in English and Malay (written and oral) Troubleshooting skills Good public relationship skills Ability to work under pressure and time constraints Work well independently and as a good team player Willing to work at site for extended durations with minimal supervision

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
