We are looking for: Engineering Intern Available Position : 2 Vacancy Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm (Mon - Fri) Location : Kulim Hi-Tech, Kedah What This Job Involves This internship will allow you to work closely under the mentorship of an experienced facilities management professional. You will gain a better understanding of some of the daily tasks related to their area of expertise. You will also be engaged on structured learning activities that will help you explore how you can develop into a corporate real estate professional. You will have the opportunity to hear from senior stakeholders on their journeys, as well as benefit from the available group coaching and self-paced learning modules. Your internship experience could be in any of the following disciplines: The Engineering Intern is responsible for driving maintenance programs (including routine inspection, corrective, and preventive activities) with a focus on system reliability, with the application of Best Practices and wide range of engineering principles and practices. Implement mandatory routine inspections in conformance to Standard Operating Procedures and reliability governance. To support electrical engineers in collecting and maintaining electrical equipment and data. Support emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring on facilities system performance, critical parameters and loading. Facilitate and administer reliability improvement projects including isolation and Testing and Commissioning, and other experimental simulations. Interface directly with clients to identify and analyze critical needs, define problems, and develop specifications to guide the solution process. Sound like you To apply, you need to be: Academic Qualification, Professional Experience Candidate must possess a minimum Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering related discipline SKILLS And CORE COMPETENCIES Able to work independently, possess integrity and a right sense of urgency to meet deadlines. Required skill(s): Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management skills. Interpersonal skills with a strong client focus. Good written and oral communication skills. Other Prerequisites Able to support shutdown activities Minimum of 3 months of internship commitment. Joining date: May/Jun 2024
