Job Description

Job Responsibility Responsible to ensure all solar PV asset is meeting Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other government agency(ies) requirements, in safe and cost effective while ensuring company profitability. Responsible to ensure all projects execution is meeting Government requirements, in safe and cost effective while ensuring quality and profit margin. Responsible to assist solar photovoltaic (PV) and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) detailed design with relevant certifications either by Competent Person or Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate. Guide Project Supervisor in solar PV detail design, preparation of Bill of Quantity (BQ), engineering drawings, documents for SEDA/TNB/ST/etc compliances and responsible in managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) until Operation and Maintenance (O&M) works performances. Responsible to assist Managing Partner to meet client and perform initial site visit to ensure reliable proposal being submitted to solar PV potential client. Actual site picture inclusive CT meter, TNB Pencawang Elektrik and relevant roof/ open space. Copy of latest TNB Bill Design the system of solar PV by using Helioscope Extract data from data lodger and interpret and analyze data Check with TNB Fault Level (if more than 550 kWp) Any other relevant activities and works to close business deal Responsible to assist Managing Partner in technical compliance for NEM Quota/Self-Consumption (SELCO) to TNB regulations and Legal Compliance to Suruhanjaya Tenaga Act and Regulations (i.e., ST Penjaga Jentera & Jurutera Elektrik Kompeten) Job Requirements An engineering and/or technical degree from higher learning institute Basic understanding in solar PV system. Experience in solar PV works an added advantage Possess valid driving license to travel, ability to work under hot sun and living independently outside Klang Valley for an extended period of time, i.e. more than 3 months Had basic skills in AutoCAD Willingness to learn renewable energy skillsets (design, financial, legal, business) particularly in solar and biogas.
