Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical faults (short circuits, motor trips, overloads, power failures). Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, and earth testing. Support calibration and maintenance of electrical safety devices. Ensure proper tagging, isolation, and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) during electrical work. Install, calibrate, and maintain pressure, flow, level, and temperature instruments. Inspect and troubleshoot field transmitters, control valves, sensors, and analyzers. Ensure all instruments are functioning accurately and aligned with process requirements. Assist in maintaining and tuning DCS/PLC control loops.
Job Requirements:
Diploma / Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronic Engineering. 2-5 years' experience in electrical/instrumentation maintenance, preferably in palm oil, biodiesel, oleochemical, or process industries. Knowledge of motor control systems, PLC/DCS basics, and field instrumentation calibration. Ability to read electrical and P&ID diagrams.
