Position overview

Are you experience in responsible and accountable for electrical team? allnex is inviting you to join our dynamic Manufacturing team as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer at Melaka, Malaysia. In this role, you will initiate and implement the preventive and predictable maintenance of electrical equipment and act as one of the key person to control the electrical cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide all electrical and instrumental engineering support and maintenance in order to reduce lost production time, maximize utility usage, and reduce off-spec products.
• Maintain optimal plant operation by making the best use of resources such as tools, spare parts, and manpower.
• Maximize plant output by ensuring that all electrical and instrumental installations are operational and maintained at peak performance in order to meet sales targets.
• Oversee maintenance, provide engineering support in maintenance, and collaborate with maintenance staff on emergency and preventive maintenance, all with the goal of maximizing plant operation.
• Plan, organize, lead, and control electrical and instrumental preventive maintenance, including tasks such as instrument calibration, instrument optimization, installation upgrade, and program implementation.
• Annual maintenance shutdown, emergency shutdown, and scheduled shutdown should all be planned, organized, led, and controlled.
• Ensure plant safety by inspecting all electrical and instrument installations to ensure their safety at all times.
• Take on projects, change of design, and special assignments as needed.
• Maintain positive inter- and intra-departmental human relations.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at all times, whether in the workshop or the plant, both before and after maintenance jobs.
• To put into practice good engineering information documentation.
• To work closely with maintenance and operations to ensure that the plant is running at peak efficiency.

Required skills and experience

• 5 years of professional experience with instruments engineering for chemical plants.
• A thorough understanding of the unit operation process, as well as hands-on experience with unit operation maintenance, is required.
• Have practical experience operating chemical plants.
• Good proven experience with instrumentation, PLC, electrical & schematic diagram.
• Capable of good engineering practice.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and management abilities.
• PC literacy is required, as well as knowledge/skills in M/S Office, etc., for report generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
