Job Description

The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, execution, testing, and final delivery of complex electrical systems across various industrial, commercial, and utility-scale projects. This role places a strong emphasis on the application of core electrical engineering principles to emerging renewable energy technologies, ensuring projects are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the entire electrical project lifecycle, from initial concept design through commissioning and handover. Provide technical support for projects throughout all stages of the project. Carry out site acceptance test (SAT) Coordinate with customers, vendors, and company personnel for project delivery Maintain continuous learning and demonstrate practical exposure to renewable energy industry. Translate fundamental electrical engineering knowledge (load flow, fault analysis, protective relaying, power quality) into practical designs for utility-scale and commercial renewable energy systems. Lead the design and calculation of key electrical components for renewable projects Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. Investigate technical issues raised up by the customers and resolve the issues This role requires travelling (around 40%) within Malaysia. Performing any ad hoc task as per instruct by the management team of the company.

Required Qualifications

This role requires basic experience in the Project Management & Electrical Commissioning. Able to work and collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in AutoCAD software. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Require at least 1 - 3 years of working experience. Requires excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
