Certificate or Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
Chargeman (AO or higher) certification is an advantage.
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in electrical installation, panel wiring, or genset system integration.
Experience in industrial or fabrication environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Hands-on skills in panel wiring, termination, and electrical testing instruments.
Basic understanding of genset control systems, ATS panels, and protection circuits.
Familiarity with testing tools such as multimeter, insulation tester, clamp meter.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willing to work overtime or on-site when required.
Key Responsibilities :
Electrical Installation & Wiring
Perform wiring works for genset enclosures, control panels, lighting systems, and auxiliary equipment.
Route and terminate cables according to schematic and layout drawings.
Assemble electrical components such as relays, contactors, switches, and circuit breakers.
Testing & Commissioning
Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, and functional testing on completed systems.
Assist engineers during genset electrical integration and pre-delivery inspection.
Ensure all electrical connections are properly labelled and comply with standards.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Diagnose and repair electrical faults during assembly or testing stages.
Support maintenance of plant electrical systems and tools as required.
Report any abnormal conditions or breakdowns to supervisor.
Documentation & Compliance
Update wiring records, test results, and as-built drawings.
Ensure compliance with electrical standards (e.g., MS IEC, OEM manuals, company SOP).
Maintain proper usage and storage of electrical tools and testing instruments.
Safety & Housekeeping
Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized working area.
Participate in toolbox meetings and safety audits.
