Job Description

The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures that electrical operations are safe, efficient, and compliant with applicable codes and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Install, test, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment. Diagnose electrical faults using testing devices and technical drawings. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Replace faulty components such as breakers, switches, motors, and wiring. Maintain accurate maintenance and service records. Assist engineers and supervisors with electrical projects and upgrades. Respond to emergency electrical issues as required.

Job Requirements:

Diploma/Certificate/SKM in electrical-related fields such as electrical installation and maintenance, electrical & electronic engineering or others. Chargeman/ Wireman competency certification will be added advantage. Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with local electrical codes and standards. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, or automation (if applicable). Physical ability to work in various environments and conditions.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
