Job Summary

The Electrical Technician (PW3 or PW4) is responsible for overseeing electrical installations & maintaining electrical safety, reliability, and compliance across the mall's infrastructure. This includes supervising electrical systems, supporting tenant fit-outs, and ensuring all technical works align with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations and Mall operational.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain LV electrical systems, switchboards, and control panels throughout the Mall Assist supervisor / superior to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance of electrical equipment, troubleshoot electrical air-cond, switch board, control panel & mechanical related to minimize Mall operational disruptions Liaise with tenants, contractors, Mall management to coordinate electrical works and shutdowns. Able to liaise with local authorities for electrical-related matters Support renovation and fit-out projects and ensuring alignment with Mall technical guidelines, electrical codes and safety practices Review electrical drawings and single-line diagrams submitted by tenants and contractor Liaise with contractors, consultants, enforce safety protocols including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage and work permit procedures Ensure all works comply with the Electricity Supply Act, ST licensing requirements, and safety standards Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including Job Request Form for contractor works, equipment servicing and inspection reports

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid PW3 or PW4 licenses registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Minimum 1.5 year experience in electrical supervision, tenant coordination and renovation at

Mall or Commercial Property

Familiar with BMS, genset, and EPS systems Ability to interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams and perform hands-on electrical troubleshooting Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel Physically fit, willing to work shift, weekends, public holidays or during off-peak hours when required
