Job Description

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair three-phase electrical wiring, switchgear, distribution boards, and associated components. Perform on-site electrical testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis on 400 V or higher systems. Read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematics for three-phase systems. Ensure all installations comply with local regulations, including the Electricity Supply Act and ST's regulations. Maintain detailed work logs and documentation (log book) for each job. Conduct and document safety checks, earthing, protection, grounding systems. Assist in inspections, audits, and formal testing as required by the ST and TNB. Coordinate with other trades and the contractor's supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills

Certification

: Valid

PW3 or PW4 Certificate of Competency

from the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

Experience

: Minimum 1 year of three-phase wiring experience under a Class C (or higher) ST-registered contractor.

Documentation

: Ability to present a log book signed by competent persons and employer.

Proof of Employment

: EPF or SOCSO statements for at least 1 year.

Knowledge

: Familiarity with MS IEC 60364, MS 1936 Code of Practice, Electrical Supply Act 1990. State Government of Malaysia+1

Testing

: (If PW4) Experience performing testing and commissioning of three-phase installations.

Safety

: Good understanding of first aid, electrical shock treatment, and workplace safety protocols.

Communication

: Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 per week
