Requirements

Valid PW4 Wireman Certificate

issued by

Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission of Malaysia).

Minimum

3 years of experience

in electrical installation within the

construction industry.

Sound knowledge of

three-phase wiring, conduit, trunking, and switchboard installation.

Strong understanding of

electrical and site safety standards

(OSH Act, CIDB requirements). Possess own transport and willing to travel to various project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical installation and wiring work for buildings and infrastructure projects according to approved drawings and specifications. Install, test, and commission lighting, power distribution, and control systems on construction sites. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize project downtime. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematic diagrams, and construction plans. Ensure all electrical works comply with ST requirements, MS IEC standards, and site safety regulations. Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and earth testing as part of quality assurance. Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth progress of construction activities.
