Perform routine and emergency electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and systems (e.g., motors, PLCs, panels, lighting, power distribution).
Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, control systems, and related hardware.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.).
Assist with the maintenance and calibration of automation and control systems.
Monitor and inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with local safety and regulatory codes.
Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) programs and maintain detailed service records.
Support machine upgrades, plant expansions, and electrical improvement projects.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, PLCs, motor controls, and VFDs.
Familiarity with industrial automation systems and electrical safety standards (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Competence in using diagnostic equipment and interpreting results.
