Job Title: Elementary Coordinator

Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We are seeking an experienced Elementary Coordinator (OCT/PYP experience) to join our Canadian International School team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating elementary school students and guiding them towards academic success.

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Create and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and meet the individual needs of students.

Establish and maintain a positive and safe learning environment for students.

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.

Attend and participate in school events, such as parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

Uphold school policies and procedures, including those related to student behavior and academic integrity.

Benefits

Monthly Basic Salary: RM 11,620 - RM 16,960 per month

Contract period: 12 month

Allowances:

Coordinator Allowance - RM 2400 per month

Welfare Allowance - RM 1,500 per month

SIS Teacher Allowance - RM 750 per month

Family Allowance - up to RM 1,500 per month

Accommodation: First 14 days upon first entry to the country

Tuition Subsidies for school aged dependent children

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a related field.

Teaching certification or licensure (OCT preferred)

Strong knowledge of elementary school curriculum and teaching methods.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PYP experience

Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.

Fluency in English.
