The work we do here matters.Department Overview Manage global product safety and regulatory certificationResponsible to perform for the overall daily administrative & test operations of the laboratory. It includes review of service requests and ensure test plans generated are to meet the test requirements. Review of test data & report, respond to customer enquires and other tasks as necessary.Responsible for performing activities in a manner that meets requirements of Motorola & laboratory policies, standards & regulatory certification requirements, Quality Manual and related laboratory procedures.Ensure test technicians are competent to carry out tests and other tasks as necessary, by providing appropriate guidance and supervision.Discuss and work with customers when there is doubt in test request requirements or if test items do not conform to the description provided, and provide advice / guidance as necessary.Ensure laboratory test systems to ensure all system calibration, correlation and performance check are completed appropriately to ensure integrity of the test system.Ensure that all equipment used by the laboratory for testing are tracked and calibrated at all times.Maintain and update laboratory Software Master List to ensure that all software used by the laboratory for testing or data collection are of latest revision and are tracked at all times.Assist the laboratory Quality Manager / appropriate Technical Manager in the handling of quality issues / technical issues as necessary.Assist in laboratory internal audits, management system reviews, complaint handling & resolution, nonconformance resolution, control of records, and laboratory improvement activities as necessary.Responsible to comply with the latest revision of ISO/IEC 17025 standard, Quality Manual and Motorola laboratories policies.Basic RequirementsBachelor of Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.Familiar with EMC Test Standards and capable of performing testing and technical review.Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 version and above.Travel Requirements NoneRelocation Provided NonePosition Type ExperiencedReferral Payment Plan NoEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
