The End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance of end-user computing devices at the customer's location. This includes ensuring the functionality and performance of desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and related applications. The role involves hardware troubleshooting, software updates, patch management, and inventory upkeep in alignment with defined standards and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
1. End User Computing Maintenance & Support
Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and other vendor-managed equipment.
Perform hardware break-fix and remedial maintenance within the committed SLA.
Execute approved desktop configuration change requests.
Carry out patching and software updates on applicable end-user devices.
Maintain and update the inventory of end-user computing assets.
Ensure compliance with the agreed Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
2. Administrative & Vendor Coordination
Deliver administrative support related to end-user computing devices.
Liaise with external vendors for support on managed equipment when necessary.
3. Issue Resolution & Standby Support
Respond to and resolve incidents based on severity level and category as defined by the customer.
Be available for standby support after office hours to manage critical issues in accordance with severity definitions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven hands-on experience in end-user computing support and maintenance
Skilled in hardware troubleshooting and software patching
Familiar with asset inventory tracking and management
Understanding of standard operating environments and patch management practices
Able to operate effectively in a customer-facing environment and adhere to customer-set schedules
Work Environment
On-site support role with fixed weekday hours and rotational Saturday duty
Required standby support outside business hours for high-severity incidents
Public holidays observed per the customer's holiday schedule

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM (on rotational basis for overtime)
Standby after office hours for critical issue support as defined by severity codes
Public holidays and work schedules will follow the customer's holiday calendar

Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
