Enables the remote management of production for 18 Air Liquide Large Industries production units spanning eight countries across the region, as well as optimizing energy consumption and improving reliability at these sites, by leveraging predictive analytics and digital technologies.

How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?

The Energy Management Specialist covers Front and Middle Office activities of Energy Management Office (EMO) of SEA and NEAPAC Countries. Under the supervision of the EMO Director and in collaboration with SIO team and country stakeholders, he/she is in charge of implementing Energy Management strategies and energy business model across the accountable countries.

• Strategize energy sourcing contract negotiations in Collaboration with the country's stakeholders and supports business developers and account management teams in the implementation of customer contract energy escalation.
• Responsible for the stewardship of the performance of Energy Contribution report in North East Asia and SEA as may be assigned to, monitoring risks and carrying out the yearly target and reforecast process.
• Ensure proper contractual review with key stakeholders were performed and seek ENRISK and highest management approval for the recommended sourcing contract.
• Responsible to develop process in order to/be directly accountable to operate these contracts at the most optimal way under the agreed contractual terms and to manage matters involving invoicing, changes in terms, renewals and another other matters.
• Each year, he/she is directly responsible for the delivery of the Target energy figures as well as the Casetracker project deliveries in the support of SIOC's value add to the respective countries.
• With the focus on Energy Transition, the Energy Management Specialist will also be leading the possibilities of decarbonizing the scope 1 and scope 2 emissions for countries under his/her accountability through the exploration and negotiations of renewable power purchase agreements (PPA) inline with the cluster's decarbonization strategy.

• Master or Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Business development experience for long/short term contracts with clear demonstration of abilities to lead full contract cycles
• Strong Commercial and organizational acumen to effectively convince stakeholders and senior management
• Ability to handle tough commercial negotiations while maintaining good working relationships
• Vision and creativity with a flexible mindset to challenge the status quo
• Ability to design tools, analyze the results and communicate insights effectively across different countries
• Proven advance Analytical capabilities and able to derive recommendations from complex data analysis
• Continual learning & capabilities development mindset
• Adaptability to local culture as this role extends to to portfolio of SEAPAC countries
• Results oriented with focus on value creation
• Knowledge of energy markets (NG, Power...), financial risk management and energy pricing mechanisms will have significant added advantage
