Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for proper preparation chemical dispersion and latex compounding with correct chemical composition added.

2. Responsible for proper preparation and stock level monitoring of the production on-line chemicals. Eg. Latex compound,Coagulant, Polymer, KSCA/AC35 solution and Neutralization,Acid Nitrice and KHI2 mixing etc, which are required from time to time by production.

3. To monitor stock level and usage of all the latex, compounding chemicals/cleaning former solution and trigger the order.

4. To ensure the incoming latex and chemicals are chemicals to the approved specification.

5. To verify all the testing for compounding material and production on-line chemicals intermediate or finished products are correct and within the specification.

6. Ensure all the documentation and testing method are complies with the ISO 9002 / EN 46002 / ASTM / SMG / AS specification.

7. To supervise the compounding workers in a manner that instruction, rules & regulation laid down are strictly followed.

8. To conduct product improvement programs (R&D) when it is necessary.

9. Coordinate with the production personnel in trouble-shooting problems regarding to the quality of products.

10. Planning and Operate the Compounding Batch Control System (CBCS) and KPCS system for every compounding and chemicals solution.

11. To be responsible for the overall compounding area activity including house keeping and maintenance facilities (motor stirrer,weighing scale) in good condition.

12. Other assigned duties as required.(Monthly/Daily Stock Count,Softener water/KOH mixing monitoring and old latex disposal etc)

A. Qualification & Experience

1. Bachelors degree in chemistry/ chemical engineering, polymer science, material science, or a related field

2. Min 1-2 years experience in latex compounding or familiar with process of chemical mixing preparation

3. Strong focus on quality, meets compound requirements, good record keeping skill to generate presentable data on the efficiency in compound batches or material usage, capable of handling or segregate the task to subordinates

4. Critical thinking for mechanical or process malfunction solving would be beneficial

5. Understand of regulatory requirements of chemical safety and environment regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
