FFM GRAINS & MILLS SDN.BHD. | KUCHING, SARAWAKJob SummaryEngineer, Facility who plays an active role in planning, executing, coordinating, monitoring and closing projects.Job Responsibilities

• To carry out feasibility study and gather information prior to execution of mechanical/electrical/facility improvement proposal and project.

• To prepare draft drawing and engineering drawing in CAD Software for project and spare part as required.

• To inspect project material specification and monitor project delivery as agreed in quotation

• Coordinate and attend project meetings with external parties like local authorities, consultants, vendors and contractors to facilitate the delivery of projects

• To prepare progress report and full report on mechanical/electrical/facility improvement project in Microsoft office and in SAP system.

• Perform technical and commercial evaluations on offers by contractors and vendors to recommend for management approval.

• To maintain the PMA & PMT certification.

Education & Qualification

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or equivalent from recognized institute

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

• Minimum 2 Years in Manufacturing/Automotive/Construction background

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

• Microsoft Office
• CAD Software
• Able to interpret Engineering Drawing (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil)
• Knowledge in Food Safety and EHS requirement
• Factories & Machineries Act
• Sarawak Electricity Ordinance

• Ability to proactively work and coordinate works with multidiscipline department.
• Interpersonal skills, stakeholders managing skills, and carry out assigned task with minimal supervision.
• Highly flexible and ability to learn fast.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Good technical reporting and presentation skills.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese literate is an added advantage.
