Job description
In your new role you will:

• Consult on operational and strategic issues related to Big Data solutions (Elastic, Hadoop, Mongo DB, Neo4j).
• Conduct development and optimization of application solutions with consideration on availability, IT security and disaster recovery.
• Responsible in consolidation and optimization of the existing system landscape (e.g. high automation)
• Be an advocate of the DevOps culture and principles within an international Team
• Conduct growth and performance analysis as well as the development of strategies for platform optimization.
• Act as subject-matter expert in a community of practice
• Be a contact for internal customers in regards of support, training and consultancy

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Computer Science or comparable with first work experience.
• Knowledge of automating business processes with bash scripts and Ansible.
• Fluent in English.
• Good knowledge in Programming Skills (e.g. OOP, Python).
• Experience in the field of continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment (CI/CD, Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• Communicative, customer-oriented and have a high level of commitment and motivation.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn about technological developments (especially Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Mongo DB, AI/ML, Openshift, Cloud).
• Experience with Unix/Linux.
• A team player spirit with a passion to share your knowledge with others.
• High analytical skills, independent but also structured work in a team.
• Willingness for international BIZ Trips.
