The role is based in Penang, Malaysia. As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your technical strength, analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role to fuel our growth in Process Engineering. Your role will include improving processes and wafer yields, increasing manufacturing productivity and lowering cost that are key to achieving Fab excellence. Coaching Associate Engineers (AEs) will also be part of your job responsibilities.What You Will Do
\xe2\x96\xaa Support development and qualification of new processes or add additional modules/features into existing processes.
\xe2\x96\xaa Support new product introduction from tapeout till prototyping success.
\xe2\x96\xaa Use process integration and semiconductor device knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve inline measurement and electrical test issues.
\xe2\x96\xaa Identify and solve line and wafer yield related problems. Lead and drive issues to closure.
\xe2\x96\xaa Optimize process margins through DOE (Design of Experiments).
\xe2\x96\xaa Monitor critical inline measurement and electrical test parameters SPC trend and Cpk to ensure production wafers meet the require quality.
\xe2\x96\xaa Opportunities for job rotation and overseas assignment.
\xe2\x96\xaa Opportunities to file patents, author technical papers for publication and present at local or overseas seminars.What You Will Need
\xe2\x96\xaa Masters/Degree in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical Engineering or Science in Physics/Material Science or related field.
\xe2\x96\xaa Strong communication skills (interpersonal, oral and written).
\xe2\x96\xaa Strong analytical, presentation & problem-solving skill.
\xe2\x96\xaa Able to perform under fast paced and challenging environment.
