Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role involves coordination with internal departments, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil works including earthworks, drainage, roads, and structural components. Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and safety standards. Liaise with authorities for permit applications, approvals, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and other engineers to integrate multidisciplinary inputs. Review and approve contractor submissions, method statements, and progress claims. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Resolve technical issues and propose engineering solutions during execution. Ensure quality control and compliance with ISO, CIDB, and local engineering standards.

Requirements:

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil OR Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Minimum 3-5 years' experience in infrastructure, property development, or marine/logistics projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and structural analysis software. Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and safety practices. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Fast learner with minimum guidance Posses own transport
