Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Engineer - Lesson Learned & Root Cause Analysis to capture the projects lesson learned and best practices over the project life cycle globally including mega and site project. Perform quality assurance and cold eye review for root cause analysis process and play the role of RMT leader to oversee the implementation of RCA practices within E&PM.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering.
  • RCA Leader training
  • Core Experience: 8 - 10 years of engineering professional and management experience in industrial projects for the petrochemical / oil & gas segment, with emphasis in Project Performance Monitoring functions.
  • Field experience in planning of Engineering, Procurement and/or Construction projects. Knowledge of quantitative and analytical skills in Project Controls.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate interface matters in multi project environment is desirable.
  • Sufficient knowledge in Project Management skill sets.
  • Knowledgeable with policies, work practices, procedures of E&PM
  • Familiarity with best practices and applicable international codes and standards.
Computer literacy in MS Windows

Duties and responsibilities

Lesson Learned:
  • Acts as Lesson Learned folder administrator for all projects development and execution phase lesson learned
  • Facilitate lesson learned workshop for all projects globally in different project phases
  • Enhance the knowledge sharing and lesson learned by publishing monthly lesson learn flyer to all E&PM staff.
  • Continuously Incorporating lessons learned from previous projects through E&PM Lesson Learned Portal.
  • Follow-up, track and update the Lesson Learned for its effective evaluation and update the Lesson Learned data base.
  • Ensure the revision of documents resulted from evaluated Lesson Learns
  • Maintain Lesson Learned Portal & issue LL monthly dashboard
Root Cause Analysis:
  • Perform as compliance check point for all generated RCAs by projects
  • Ensure the RCA assigned criticality class in line with Company approved risk matrix
  • Validate the selected team leader competency and ensure the appointment of the proper sponsor
  • Participate in the RCA(s) as team member
  • Monitor the mitigation of RCA recommendations & issue RCA monthly dashboard
  • Monitor the mitigation of RCA recommendations
  • Perform the RCA RMT leader roles within E&PM executed RCA.

Interviews stage 2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation. If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client. If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you. 2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week. If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location. The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions. If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer. If your face-to-face interview is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you. 2.3 There could be additional video interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field. 3. Conditional Offer A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment. Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
