Job Summary

An accountable Engineer, Mechanical to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. Schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Job Responsibilities

Interact with the clients (inter departmental) to interpret their needs and requirements and responsible in all plant installation and modification work. Perform overall quality control of the work (technical report and proposal, budget, schedule, plans and timeline, tender documentation) and report regularly on project status. Monitor compliance to applicable practices, ISO policies, performance standards and specifications. To interact with personnel from various department in the company, supplier, contractor, consultant, and TNB. Cooperate and communicate effectively with engineering manager, engineers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support. To complete other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualification

Minimum bachelor's degree/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical) or equivalent qualification recognized.

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, or those with relevant working experience in the related field are encouraged as well.

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

Must be familiar with Electricity Supply Act 1990 (ESA 1990). Factories & Machinery Act 1967. Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994).

Competencies

Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD. Advanced MS Office skills. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects. Project management and supervision skills.
