Location: Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Minyak, 14100 Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang

We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team.

Responsible to assist company to initiate and lead development of new project, enhancement and improvements in equipment, processes and systems to improve quality, productivity and cost of manufacturing, lead and manage the manufacturing operations through the training, motivating and directing of staff towards higher efficiency quality and productivity.

You will play an important role in:-

To assist company to initiate and lead development of new project, enhancement and improvements in equipment, processes and systems to improve quality, productivity and cost of manufacturing To lead and manage the manufacturing operations through the training, motivating and directing of staff towards higher efficiency quality and productivity To ensure timely delivery of manufactured products which confirm to customer's specification and requirements, is of the desired quality and manufactured at the lowest possible cost, by planning and directing available engineering resources towards resolving all production - related quality and technical issues, and implementing continual process re-engineering and improvements To ensure complete implementation of Quality System in accordance with the Quality Manual for ATPG To handle new product development in terms of product design, process design and sample preparation To identify productivity improvements project, conduct feasibility study, make proposal and coordinate implementation To perform Work Study to improve productivity and costs To analyze machine capability and capacity for optimum utilization To design and make production tool, die or fixtures for new part and work improvement To perform time study To work out the quotation cost for customer enquiry parts Documentation and updating of PCC To meet production target which confirm to customers' specification and delivery schedule, by ensuring that all inter-department/company activities are well coordinated To initiate and implement preventive/corrective action to resolve production-related quality and technical issues To ensure that all engineering documentation pertaining to process, product structure, etc. are accurately updated and maintained in accordance with the Quality System requirement To implement cost-effective measures and established acceptable quality level of works, to achieve lower production costs and improve product quality To ensure that all resources and information pertinent to satisfactory completion of assigned tasks are made available to subordinate staff To develop and enhance the core competence of the manufacturing operations going in die-cutting techniques and other manufacturing processes or capabilities to meet the growth objective of the company To supervise, monitor and motivate work of staff to ensure effective and satisfactory performance of assigned tasks Any other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

3 years & above of experiences in Engineering & Manufacturing Industry. Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently without much supervision. Driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to manage time effectively. Punctuality at workplace and good attendance
