To support and lead quality-related product development activities by ensuring that product designs meet customer expectations, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, structured problem-solving, and effective execution of product development processes.
JOB PURPOSE
Assist in defining
project objectives and technical specifications
by analyzing project plans, customer requirements, and industry standards.
Monitor and support project progress by
coordinating activities
with internal and external stakeholders, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers in
design discussions for products, tools, and equipment
-- from concept development to final improvement and implementation stages.
Support and participate actively in
APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
activities such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow diagrams.
Ensure development and ongoing maintenance of effective
FMEAs and Control Plans
, driving continuous improvement and preventive quality measures.
Support audits, documentation reviews, and process validation activities to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience
in product development or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, and other core quality tools.
Familiarity with design specifications, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using CAD software and quality analysis tools is an added advantage.
