Responsible for managing, executing, and ensuring timely submission of customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to verify PPAP elements, ensuring compliance with customer standards, and maintaining complete documentation and traceability of product approval activities.

Daily Responsibilities
Initiate and compile PPAP documentation and samples for customer submission.
Coordinate with internal departments (Production, QA, Engineering, Purchasing) and suppliers to verify PPAP requirements.
Track PPAP status and follow up with customers for approval and closure.
Ensure approved samples and documentation are properly stored and distributed.
Manage rejected or excess samples (scrap or return to supplier).
Maintain accurate records and filing of all PPAP-related documents.
Weekly Responsibilities
Review and update PPAP tracking logs and approval status reports.
Conduct internal coordination meetings to review pending or critical PPAP submissions.
Verify ongoing product and process verification activities (e.g., FAI, dimensional reports, capability studies).
Support cross-functional teams in resolving PPAP-related quality issues.
Monthly Responsibilities
Prepare and present a PPAP submission and approval performance summary to management.
Audit PPAP files for completeness, traceability, and compliance to customer standards.
Ensure proper control and storage of approved master samples and documentation.
Update lessons learned and best practices for future submissions.
Quarterly Responsibilities
Review and update PPAP process documentation and procedures (internal SOPs).
Conduct supplier performance review related to PPAP and product approval quality.
Participate in design transfer or new product introduction (NPI) reviews.
Support internal and customer audits focused on PPAP and product approvals.
Yearly Responsibilities
Lead annual PPAP revalidation activities as required by customers.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for the PPAP process.
Plan and execute PPAP training sessions for internal teams and suppliers.
Review and report annual PPAP performance metrics (approval lead time, rejection rates, etc.).
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in PPAP or product quality approval processes in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, FAI, and product validation processes.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
Excellent coordination and documentation skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive in follow-up and closure.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Competency in MS Office, Quality Core Tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC).
