Job Title:Engineer, Quality:The Role:The core purpose is the mission of the job \xe2\x80\x93 why it needs to be filled and how it fits into the organization. By narrowly defining the Core Purpose, you\xe2\x80\x99re able to define what\xe2\x80\x99s needed to solve the existing business challenge(s)This position will be taking charge as product QE at FOUP, to be interface of customers in managing 8D response as well as various requests related to product quality.The engineer will also play an active role to support PP02 activities, identifying potential risks on product quality and work with cross functional team for solution/risk mitigation prior release for shipment.The position will also take up the roles to support FOUP NPI activities (T300) and CIP activities. This engineer will be leading in quality control at FOUP assembly, establishing product quality acceptance criteria, inspection guide, SPC etc.In this role you will:What are the expected outcomes? What must this role get done in order to meet your business objectives? Define \xe2\x80\x9cwhat success will look like.\xe2\x80\x9dSet up quality control (SPC, QC etc.), support V&Q activities throughout the qualification, prepare customer V&Q package etc. until completion of qualification with customer approval.Understand in depth on product quality and customer requirements, able to communicate directly with customers on 8D response and customer requests where needed.Recommend for solution not limited to quality issues, process improvement, system improvement, production control etc.Establish quality documentation and development of SOP, monitor and audit for compliance.Identify gap and work with cross functional team for continuous improvement especially on early detection and systemic solution to avoid recurrence.Contribute and take initiative in continual improvement activities that relates to Culture of Quality.Traits we believe make a strong candidate:What are the Position Specific Competencies?
