1. Design and develop new products from concept to production.
2. Oversee prototypes and testing, ensuring products meet quality and performance standards.
3. Supervise workshop staff.
4. Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure product standards are met.
5. Analyze and optimize exiting manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
6. Collaborate with production to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
7. Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
8. Ensure that drawings convey accurate information and are free of errors.
9. Assist in the selection of materials and manufacturing techniques.
10. Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks.
11. Provide technical support and service to customers via phone and on-site visits.
12. Ensure that the project scope, requirements, deliverables and acceptance criteria are clearly defined, technically documented and agreed upon with the customer, and that a clear baseline is established for the project before work begins.
13. Carry out all activities, including designing, assembling methods, testing, commissioning, installation, servicing and training.
14. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the company remains competitive.
15. Performs other job-related duties and work on projects as required.
Requirements
:
1. Candidates possess a Professional Certificate in Engineering or equivalent is an advantage.
2. Required Skill(s): CAD software, PLC, HMI, and other relevant engineering tools
3. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese.
4. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required in this position.
5. Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, product development, or technical support.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints is desired. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to compete basic mathematical calculations is required.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
8. Commitment to completing assignments within deadlines, responsible, pleasant and independent personality
9. Proficient in English, ability to speak in mandarin would be advantages.
