As our Engineering & Design - Regional Lead you will provide engineering and design leadership across all disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of NEXTDC projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Your key function will include leading, influencing and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders including architects, engineers, clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of projects from feasibility through to handover to the Facility Management team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Feasibility studies, due diligence, site appraisals and project briefs
• Capital cost estimates, TCO, ROI, business case input and analysis
• Risk assessment, mitigation and management
• Concept, schematic and spatial co-ordination design and/or review
• Technical and tender detail design and/or review
• Functional and Integrated Systems Testing team management
• Scopes of works, Schedules of services
• Customer engagement and support

• Leadership / management of multi-discipline engineering, contractor & supplier teams
• Highly developed skills and experience in Data Centre Engineering and Design for all project stages of mission critical 24/7 100% uptime facilities
• Eye for detail
• Collaborate onsite and virtually with diverse teams to achieve the project quality, budget and date deliverables

Qualifications

• Electrical / mechanical trade qualification or engineering degree highly desirable
• Extensive onsite practical experience delivering data centre projects
