Responsible for managing Engineering activities & teams (Mechanical, E&IC, CAD) across the region which cover mainly tenders & projects in SEA & ANZ as well as cooperation with the China based Engineering team and industrialization / standardization of selected offerings.
? Responsible to provide the appropriate support to the Delivery Business Units BD and Execution
Department to contribute to the sustainable growth of VWT Asia Pacific
? Maintain and develop the access to the technical expertise network within Veolia and VWT
? Assist the Director of Engineering Platform

Technical
Tender development (Lead or coordinate with his/her team)
? Support Sales, P&A and Process Teams to define the optimized technical solution that meets the client's needs. This includes, for example, Reviewing client's RFQ/Technical requirements and associated recommendations, Go/No Go meetings with Country and BD management.
? Participate in tender kick-off meetings with the tender team.
? Allocate the proper resources for an efficient Tender Support
? Responsible for the drawings, 3D models & Bills of Materials produced at tender stage
? Prepare plant layout, equipment list and specification
? Participate in the bid presentation and technical support to the sales team for contract negotiation
? Attend clarification meetings with clients as required

Project execution (Lead or coordinate with his/her team)
? Participate in Project kick-off meetings with the Project team.
? Allocate the proper resources / team to support the Project Manager during the Project Execution
? Assist and support the operations, Process or commissioning teams during execution phases in
Engineering related tasks
? Coordinate technical and expertise support for the country operations teams
? Responsible for the Engineering team deliverables during execution
? Collect Engineering related lessons-learned after performance test completion.

General
? Develop, review, adapt the policy, methods, tools and processes for the department
? Plan and coordinate the work of all personnel attached to the Department
? Ensure proper coordination and planning of work with other Departments including third parties as necessary
? Participate and contribute in technical and business meetings across the APAC countries and platforms as required
? Establish quotes studies and contracts of outsourcing.
? Participate in technical meetings and business meetings of coordination entities / directions.
? Develop and / or validate the activity reports.

Management
? Manage the SEA & ANZ Engineering teams
? Recruit, Manage and develop the employees in the department
? Recruitment & Mentorship of newcomers (Junior Engineers)
? Work with Engineering Director (APAC) to address needs including reviews, technical training, resources and planning

Qualifications

Education
? Master in Engineering

Others (License/Certificates)
? Strong knowledge of engineering softwares
? English - fluent
? 1 or 2 other languages (French, Mandarin, Bahasa) are a plus

• 10-15 year(s) of experience in a Management Position that revolves around water treatment engineering and project management
• Several years experience in a multicultural environment
