?A leading global bank in Malaysia is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Lead to own the technical strategy and delivery of its Core Deposits platform, supporting both Retail Banking and Wealth Management domains.
This is a pivotal leadership role within a high-performing technology hive, focused on delivering scalable, secure, and customer-centric banking solutions in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

? What You'll Do
Lead engineering squads delivering deposit capabilities across savings, current, and fixed deposit products.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Technology Leadership to define and deliver the platform vision and technical roadmap.
Ensure technical alignment with enterprise architecture standards, regulatory frameworks, and security protocols.
Drive modernisation efforts, including service reusability, scalable platform design, and integration with internal systems and vendor technologies.
Identify and resolve cross-squad dependencies, technical risks, and design bottlenecks to maintain delivery momentum.
Champion engineering excellence, DevOps practices, and agile delivery across squads.

? What We're Looking for
10+ years in software engineering or solution architecture, with deep expertise in core banking platforms especially core deposits.
Demonstrated leadership in delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions across retail and wealth domains.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards in the banking industry.
Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; able to engage stakeholders across technology and business.
Hands-on experience with modern engineering practices, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise integrations.
