Keeping up the pace
You\xe2\x80\x99ll set the facility management team on the right track through ample engineering planning and management. You\xe2\x80\x99ll drive success in terms of functionality and stability by finding new ways to improve the system and making sure that everyone knows where they stand. You need to ensure that team members can efficiently respond to all engineering challenges, at the same time comply with the policies and procedures. You\xe2\x80\x99ll bring out the team player in you to keep all key performances in check.

All eyes on the plan
You\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure that all risk mitigation plans are in place. Do such plans comply with our clients\xe2\x80\x99 designated procedures and policies? Are all engineering reports in order? You constantly need to monitor and evaluate all critical environment equipment across the account\xe2\x80\x99s site to make sure everything is running smoothly as possible. Tracking review reports should also keep you busy, as doing so is instrumental in implementing improvement plans across the sites.

Taking facilities operations up a notch

Maintaining high-quality facilities operations is your top priority. To achieve this, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with facilities managers to keep the reliability of facilities operations. You\xe2\x80\x99re in charge of reviewing the planned preventive maintenance programmes, as well as ensuring that service standards are aligned and maintained with regional operations procedures. You\xe2\x80\x99ll take the lead in pushing the \xe2\x80\x9cONEVIEW\xe2\x80\x9d system to your staff, and use it to ensure consistency against regional policies and procedures. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be responsible for quality assurance by keeping the M&E systems in check.
Specific to our client account you shall: -

• Check work order dashboard, response time and add notes to work order request.
• Notify underperformed work order through email to Facility Engineers (FEs).
• Brief FEs and follow up on underperformed WOs (Work Orders).
• Final checking underperformed WO rectifications.
• Inform FEs to dispatch work order through email to vendors.
• Review received quotes from vendors- review each quote and decide.
• Review Approval to Works (ATW) for vendor- keyed in ATW inside system by FEs.
• CSR collection- Review the CSR to make sure job done as per quotation and requirements.
• To close work order status in Corrigo if necessary.
• Check for complaints, flagged in Corrigo.
• To check every Friday all PPM WOs should be closed before its due date over the weekend.
• Monitoring email notification to vendor on PPM confirmed schedule and ATW request.
• Testing monthly and updating firmware quarterly for Augmented Reality Headset.
• Operational Risk Advisory creation.
• Asset Life Cycle monitoring.
• WO performance statistic review.
• Daily Permit to Work monitoring for ST and IQ.
• Daily DART monitoring.
• Monthly utilities dashboard review.
• Monthly asset dashboard review.
• Weekly discussions with site leads.
• Weekly Menara IQ Base Built discussions related matters if any.
• Quarterly utilities and waste data tracker monitoring and reporting.
• Review received requisition from HK - review each quotes and decide.
• Attending project kick off meeting, T&C and project handover sessions for all HSBC Malaysia portfolios.

Risks under control
Being an engineering manager also requires you to be on top of your risk management game. Are there any major M&E equipment risks? Is information uploaded into our systems accurate and complies with the audit process? Is the disaster recovery and business continuity planning implemented and reviewed periodically? Are escalation procedures observed? These are just some of the questions that you constantly need to ask yourself as our risk management agent.

Tracking project effectiveness
You\xe2\x80\x99ll be involved in project review, execution and information documentation. You\xe2\x80\x99ll keep track of the M&E portions of all project proposals, and participate in the technical aspects of the M&E portion of any project\xe2\x80\x99s bidding process. It is also your job to keep project information together for future use.

Managing the team
You\xe2\x80\x99ll oversee all engineering-related trainings of staff members, as well as ensure their compliance to necessary licenses and certifications. You\xe2\x80\x99re also in charge of ensuring the quality of management reports through the team\xe2\x80\x99s deliverables and administration of the \xe2\x80\x9cONEVIEW\xe2\x80\x9d portal.
