ROLE PURPOSE: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in project management and construction of infrastructure, majorly earthworks. Some design experience is an added advantage. The candidate is also expected to be involved in developing the organization capacity and capabilities in the area of majorly earthworks. The job will be based in Kuching Head Quarter. QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE Academic Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology. Experience: Technical proficiency and knowledge in cloud security, network security, system security, database security oHave experience in deploying or supporting security practices and technologies such as risk or vulnerability assessments, antivirus software, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, centralized alert logging and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical wise projects in the area of reviewing design, do value engineering and do the necessary proposal to reflect time, cost and quality to the advantage of projects. Develop design data or parameters for new project proposals. Also identify project risk during the initiation stage and continuously keep tracking it through the implementation process that reflects time and cost. Keep track of the design process to meet time, cost and quality. Implement continuous improvement where necessary. Common Responsibilities: Oversee department, provide leadership and mentoring. Handle multiple projects simultaneously. Reporting to Management Engage with stakeholders in order to perform duty. Job Requirements: Possesses a bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering. Candidates registered as a Professional Engineer also if having working in a contractor environment is an added advantage. Minimum of 12 years of related experience majorly in the earthwork discipline. Able to mentor the team. Good in communication skills at various levels to resolve issues. Quickly adapt to the working environment. Able to travel without hesitation.
