Position Title: IE Process Engineering Manager Location: Kulim, Kedah Tenure: Permanent Headcount: 1 Summary: The major task of the Engineering Manager/ Assistance Engineering Manager is to be the knowledgeable, advance the technical ability, provide supervision and guidance and be responsible for the technical quality of the engineering activities of the group. The main focus of the position should be to ensure that the design integrity is not compromised and to manage and facilitate effective completion of the process and detailed design. The main focus of the position should be to plan manpower resources to support quotation and tendering activities and project execution team on project detail design matter, support and participate in commissioning and start-up activities. The Engineering Manager will also assist in the setting up of engineering processes/ workflows and standards as applicable. Descriptions: Prepare and develops cost estimates, bids or proposal, and contract review Collaborate with sales team to secure new projects. Communicate effectively with customer Collaborate with project teams and departments and gauge detail design process of various projects to ensure project completion in time Forecast and oversees process and engineering resources allocation for quotation and project execution Reviewing engineering work for technical accuracy, costing accuracy and budgetary proposal meeting technical requirements Provide technical leadership and raise competence of the detail engineering discipline Supervise and lead a group of Senior and Junior Engineers manage and assign task to engineers provide clear and concise instruction to engineering and technical teams Identify and contacting potential technology partners to enhance and complement company capability Hire, supervising, training and mentoring new employees making determination for staff training needs and talent development Establishment of an Engineering Knowledge Database (including optimization of engineering standards and formats and optimization of engineering / technical library) Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of process and engineering design, reducing project cost and meet customer\'s expectations Attend and participate company trade shows and conferences and make sites visits and supplier\'s facilities Maintain high level expertise in their field or sector. Any other tasks as assigned by superior from time to time Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering Require minimum 10 years\' experience and excellent knowledge in Process or Detail Design Engineering for ultrapure water treatment, industrial waste water treatment or off gas pollution abatement system.
