Job Description

We are looking Engineering Manager for our prestigious client in the Fintech industry. This is a remote position based in Kuala Lumpur.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance/support, and fostering a continuous learning and improvement culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, etc.) to define project scopes, requirements, and timelines, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
• Drive the execution of engineering projects from conception to delivery, overseeing the development process, setting clear goals, and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies to optimize team performance and efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing, and effective communication within the engineering team and across departments.
• Participate in recruitment efforts by identifying talent, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions to expand and strengthen the engineering team.

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (Min. 5 years) in a leadership or managerial role within a technical engineering team.
• Demonstrated success in project management, delivering complex technical projects within scope, on time, and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Experience in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
