Job Responsibilities: Engineering Manager Works closely with management to develop the team\'s strategy, planning, and approach based on established goals and budget for EPCC project implementation in meeting the defined EPCC project scope and deliverables. Planning of engineering activities in the pre and post award phases of a project. Act as the focal point/key interface to the Client on project engineering issues. Coordinate and supervise engineering activities with an emphasis on design and system engineering. Prepare and coordinate Concept, FEED or Tender deliverables, as required to support the company win it activities. Control engineering in accordance with company\'s QA procedures. Ensure that engineering is fit for purpose and meets both project design requirements and Client installation criterion. Manage and coordinate project gate reviews. Ownership of supplier design input. Ensure engineering close out and lessons learned are completed. Stays abreast with industry best practices in engineering project management to develop engineering operating policies, procedures, and quality management plans. Provides correct approach on the initial utilization of the engineering project management tools to track project deliverables and maximize team performance output, accuracy, and design reliability. Defines and manages engineering project risk and the required documentation, monitoring and implementing mitigation plans in advising management on the risk status and resolution. Manages team achievement toward project goals, timeline, and budget, ensuring strict compliance with the design process and methods in accordance with the process flow and engineering policies. Defines work breakdown structure in full-scale project plans to ensure the allocation of resource requirements and schedule in fulfilling the milestone progress in the EPCC project. Initiates technical capability studies (i.e.TBE) with tender project team members, commercial, procurement and etc. to define project specification for proposal generation during the project appraisal and development stage. Participates in meetings with managers, owners, statutory or classification authorities, and subcontractors to review the status of the completed project activities including changes, if required to ensure project compliance. Manages project milestone reports prepared by team members, including providing expert inputs and advice on improvement when required before presenting the report to senior management and stakeholders. Monitors team coordination with the project team on the additional job which affects the design changes, schedule, and plan, organizes and implements the project work to ensure compliance and timely completion. Manages project audit (i.e. Third party on quality, safety and etc.) and project close-out plan as lessons learned, reviewing action plans, documentation, and solutions are appropriate for further process improvement. Sets objectives with the team members monitor and evaluate their performance, makes recommendations or approves and implements actions, such as promotions and corrective action. Executes routine administrative responsibilities (e.g. leave and course approvals), and resolves other HR-related issues. Maintains and executes HSSE procedures, policies, and programs and drives continuous improvement through risk-based thinking and analysis. Supports the conduct of HSSE management system audits to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies. Process Engineer Leading the interfaces and integration of the process design with that of other disciplines. Development of Process Flow Diagram and Utility Header Diagram as well as process design philosophy/design basis Development of Piping & Instrumentation Diagram Process calculation:- Properties of material such as vapor pressure, density, viscosity, thermal conductivity and other physical properties etc. Development of efficient and sustainable engineering solutions, meeting the requirements of the project scope. Proactively engage with the supply chain and produce technical specifications for procuring proprietary process equipment Applying both innovative and standard designs to project problems. You will work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond. You will positively engage with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach to support them in achieving their aims. You will provide design support to the site team during the construction and commissioning stages and will be integral in contributing towards successful project close-outs and post-project reviews. Job Requirements: Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualifications. Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in EPC nature of Companies dealing with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical and industrial plants. Strong experience in engineering project management in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of HSSE management systems (including requirements and standards), HEMP and group standards, their implementation and practical interpretation / experience would be desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Office and possesses good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. About 30% travelling is expected. 5 days week job.
