Key Responsibilities

Lead hands-on die-casting operations (Zinc/Aluminum) with 8+ years of experience. Solve defects like porosity, shrinkage, cold flow, and flash--deliver 3+ complete cases with quantified results (e.g., reduced scrap by X%). Coordinate with tooling, equipment, and production teams for seamless operations. Drive root cause analysis using 8D, 5Why, Fishbone; conduct SPC, DOE, and process capability studies. Train and develop technical staff, manage projects, and implement Kaizen/lean initiatives for cost control and continuous improvement. Communicate fluently across teams and contribute to technical roadmaps.
RequirementsTechnical Background

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Mold, or related fields. 8+ years hands-on die-casting experience (Zinc/Aluminum). Mastery of parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, time) and defect resolution. Strong knowledge of mold design, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
Experience & Skills

3+ proven cases solving die-casting defects with measurable results. Expert in analytical tools: 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, SPC, DOE, cost-benefit analysis. Leadership: Team training, project management, stakeholder communication, conflict resolution. Business acumen: Cost control, risk management, strategic planning.
Language Proficiency

English

: Fluent in professional communication, technical docs, and meetings.

Bahasa Malaysia

: Fluent for daily operations, team management, and koordinasi tempatan.

Chinese

: Basic understanding for work instructions and simple meetings.
