As a Engineering Tech Lead, you will oversee and mentor a team of engineers, including junior developers as well as senior and principal engineers. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who leads by example, cultivates a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement, and skillfully manages the technical and professional development of the team.

• Lead and manage a diverse engineering team, overseeing their daily activities, project assignments, and professional growth
• Promote technical excellence by actively engaging in coding, design, and architecture discussions while setting high standards for code quality and best practices
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Implement Agile methodologies within the team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and initiatives for continuous improvement
• Contribute to the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable IP and voice data stream processing solutions
• Identify and resolve technical debt, performance issues, and potential risks within team projects
• Foster a positive team culture that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and ongoing learning
• Manage team performance by conducting regular one-on-ones and providing constructive feedback to team members
• Collaborate with other team leads and senior leadership to ensure that team goals align with broader organizational objectives
• Participate in the hiring process to build and maintain a strong and diverse engineering team

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master\'s degree is preferred
• Over 8 years of experience in software development, including a minimum of three years in a leadership or mentoring capacity
• Expertise in C/C++ and Java, along with experience in contemporary language standards and frameworks
• Thorough understanding of network protocols, IP traffic management, and telecommunications engineering principles
• Experience in multi-threaded programming, performance optimization, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically Kanban and Scrum
• Proven success in leading software projects and driving technical initiatives
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to assist team members in navigating complex technical issues
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and their implementation in data processing and analytics
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD and containerization
• Background in real-time data processing systems and big data technologies
