Job Description

Provide technical assistance to other Test Technicians by troubleshooting new or persistent issues, performing rework, accessing computer systems, reviewing schematics, and utilizing fixtures using previous experiences/schematics/assembly drawings/work instructions, while management updated; escalate to Leads/Engineers/Supervisors for solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex issues by utilizing BKM (Best Known Method)/Tech Bulletins/FCO's Tests and troubleshoots system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems. Inspect materials, components, or products for surface defects and measure circuitry, using electronic test equipment, precision measuring instruments, microscope, and standard procedures. Conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment, help in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Support the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment. Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Collaborates with development engineers conducting engineering tests to collect design data or support in research efforts. Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering 4 -10 years of related work experience. Good understanding on electrical schematics, mechanical drawing and technical manuals. Firsthand experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics. Effective communication skills, written and verbal, in English. Proficient in utilizing computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software. Ability to work on a shift schedule. Associates Degree, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in a technical field. Experience in electrical engineering, mechatronic engineering, or related areas. Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
