Job Summary:-

Developing effective assembly and production processes and Implementing quality improvements within the business.

Coordinates line activities with Production group.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:-

Primary:-

Develops, evaluates, and optimizes process of new products for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing processes.

~ Works with designers during DRR to minimize or eliminate manufacturability or quality risks through design changes and process improvements.

~Troubleshoots design or process issues, implements improvements and supports all other daily activities in production.

~ Together with the Prod,QA assists in guiding and providing support line activities.

~ In charge of current process performance on KPI and Quality

~ Responsible for Automatic soldering Inspection machine.

~ Upkeep process engineering documentations / records.

~ Conduct process evaluations and data capture.Process Validation and standardization.

~ Responsible on updating and deriving correct machine parameters from Solder Paste printing,

Pick and Place machine, Reflow Soldering, Washing machine and Wave soldering

Secondary:-

~ Support Monthly Machine PM / Calibration

~ Attend issues and breakdowns on production facilty and offices.

Job Duties:-

~ Conduct DOE activities for process capability.

~ Monitors process change control such as SPC for Solder Paste Printing, Wave soldering and Cut and form components.

~ Set-up and qualify manufacturing process for PCBA / Conduct process materials evaluation & equipment qualifications.

~ Identify, improve, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, process capability, and product quality.

~ Track Machine utilization and publish montlh basis.

~ Upgrading / retrofitting for those deteriorated machinenery.

~ Involvement in DRR meetings on product manufacturability.

~ Automatic Optical Inspection Machine AOI Programming

~ Taking Reflow Profiles based on Process Requirements and components sensitivity.

~ Yamaha YSM20 Programming.

~ Attend machinery / equipment failure and get repair done either in-house/supplier

~ Attend and resolve process related issues.

~ Established work instruction for new process.

~ Preparation of training / equipment manuals formats for personnel training use.

Minimum job requirements:-

Qualification

Degree or Diploma in Electronic / Process / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering

Experience:

3 years related experience PCBA especially SMT process.

~ Must have knowledge of IPC-610A standards

Special skills / knowledge / certifications / licenses

Knowledge:-

Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office software required

Solid skills and knowledge of production processes and flow , SMT thru hole and assembly related processes for electronic board manufacturing.
