Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
Deliver English language lessons to students according to the school's curriculum and learning framework.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning activities tailored to students' proficiency levels.
Use a variety of instructional strategies, including interactive, student-centered, and technology-integrated methods.
Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, presentations, and class participation.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support continuous improvement in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Classroom Management
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain discipline and classroom control following school policies.
Encourage student engagement, participation, and creativity.
Student Development
Support students in developing strong communication skills, critical thinking, and confidence in using English language.
Identify students who need additional support and communicate their needs to the Head of Department when necessary.
Professional Responsibilities
Participate in departmental meetings, training, workshops, and continuous professional development (CPD).
Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and share best practices.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required.
Administrative Tasks
Ensure timely submission of lesson plans, reports, and assessments.
Maintain accurate student records (attendance, grades, behavior reports).
Assist in organizing school events, activities, and competitions related to English language.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or related field.
Teaching certification or relevant training is an added advantage.
Minimum 1-2 years' teaching experience (international school experience preferred).
Strong command of English language (spoken and written).
Ability to use digital tools and platforms for teaching.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
